It was great to see such a diverse range of associations and association professionals at our inaugural Sydney User Group.  The meeting was a prelude to a (semi) national User Group which will see another meeting in Melbourne on Monday 5 August.

The gathering showed the incredible variety of organisations and range of positions within Associations using the Association Online AMS.  From windows through to sleeping disorders, private equity and credit unions through to jewellers.

The meeting also briefed everyone on the brand new Online User Group Community (developed in partnership with the SAP Users Group) that was launched on Tuesday and which will assist in allowing all our users to communicate with each other – and the freedom to meet up whenever they want (using the inbuilt event system).

The take out from the day was that there is a great need for people to get together and talk about how each organisation can benefit from the experience of others.  From embedding pictures to using MYOB, there were loads of ideas raised and we know that there are some great tips and tricks in everyone’s heads that are going to be incredibly useful to all our users.
